Why Invest in Solar in Cape Town?
Electricity costs can make a significant difference to your monthly household or business expenses. Installing a properly designed solar power system allows you to generate your own electricity from the sun and use more of your own energy.
Adding battery storage can take your energy independence even further.
A solar battery can store excess solar energy generated during the day, allowing you to use stored energy when solar production is lower. This can help reduce your dependence on grid electricity while also providing backup power during outages.
At MLT Power, we don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. We assess your property's energy requirements and design a system around your specific loads, backup requirements and available solar resources.

When you choose MLT Power, you're not simply buying solar panels. You're investing in a complete energy solution.

High-Efficiency Solar Panels
The quality of your solar panels directly affects your system's ability to generate energy.
MLT Power supplies Enersol Lumina BC Series solar panels featuring N-type monocrystalline technology, an all-black design and efficiency of up to 22.6%. The panels also feature a 15-year structural warranty and 30-year linear power guarantee.
For homeowners looking for a clean, premium-looking solar installation, the all-black panel design provides an attractive finish while delivering high solar generation potential.
Solar Battery Backup for Your Home or Business
One of the biggest advantages of combining solar panels with battery storage is the ability to use stored energy when you need it.
A correctly sized battery system can help keep important appliances and circuits operating when the grid is unavailable. During the design process, MLT Power considers essential and non-essential circuits, your property's electrical connection and your expected energy requirements.
Whether you need home solar backup, a system for a larger property or a commercial solar installation, our team can help you determine the appropriate inverter and battery capacity.
Professional Solar Installation in Cape Town
Choosing an experienced solar installer is just as important as choosing quality equipment.
A solar system needs to be correctly designed, installed, commissioned and documented. MLT Power assists with the City of Cape Town SSEG registration process, including pre-installation approval and commissioning documentation where required.
Our installations also include registration and certification as part of the quoted installation service.
This gives you the convenience of having your solar project managed from system design through to installation and certification.

How Much Does Solar Cost in Cape Town?
The cost of a solar system depends on the size of your inverter, battery capacity, solar panel requirements, installation complexity and your property's electricity consumption.
MLT Power offers a range of installed solar and battery solutions, with indicative pricing available for different system sizes. Our packages include installation, registration and certification.
We also offer financing options with a 25% initial deposit and 60-month term, allowing customers to spread the cost of their solar investment over time.
The best way to determine the right system and cost for your property is to have your energy requirements assessed before purchasing.
